Engineers from Caltech in collaboration with the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) in Abu Dhabi introduced humanoid transformer robot innovative, capable of bringing and launching shapeshifting drone straight from his back. This system emphasizes high flexibility and mobility, allowing robots and drones to adapt to a variety of environmental conditions.

Main Features of Humanoid Robots

• Bipedal humanoid platform: Based on the Unitree G1 which can navigate stairs and complex terrain.

• Multifunctional M4 Drone:

  • Driving using wheels

  • Flying with rotors after wheels are folded

  • Standing upright on two wheels (“meerkat-style”)
